Teacher of the Year Nominees

The Lord called home beloved Art teacher, Denise Rossi, after she graciously and courageously endured cancer the past four years.  While this is sad news, we rejoice in knowing Denise is no longer suffering and is now with Jesus.  Please lift up her husband, Tommy, daughter Kathleen, and her extended family in your prayers. 

Denise has been on staff at Spanish River Christian School for 10 years. She started as a Kindergarten Assistant and has spent the last 5 years as an incredibly talented and well-loved Art teacher. She has inspired many students over the years and will leave a lasting impact. Mrs. Rossi was honored by Christian Schools of Palm Beach County and named their "2020 - 2021 Teacher of the Year" for her dedication to Christian Education, incorporating Scripture in Art, and the love she has for her students, reminding them daily that they are God's masterpieces.
